"A ship in a harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." - John A. Shedd. We are made to love.
It is better to have loved and lost.
Love is an awesome feeling; you can't put it in words--it just is. Losing someone you love is incredibly painful, but the pain just confirms that it was love you were feeling, and not some sham pseudo-love,it hurt like anythin. Having said that, I would take the risk of being hurt any day for someone I truly felt love for.
The Dalai Lama said that "great love and great achievements involve great risk." I like his thoughts on this. |
