Tom Yum Soup
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken stock 200 ml
Raw , sliced chicken 80gm
Sliced mushrooms
Lemon grass, shredded 5 gm
Gallangal / ginger finely diced 5 gm
Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
Fish sauce 1/2 tbsp.
Chilli paste 1/2 tsp.
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp.
Seasoning to taste
To Make Chilli Paste
Dry red chilli flakes 1 tbsp.
Shrimp paste 1 tsp.
Onion 1/2 tbsp.
Garlic 1 tsp.
Oil 2 tbsp.
PROCEDURE:
- Boil stock and add sliced chicken, when chicken is almost cooked add mushroom
- After 30 seconds add rest all the ingredients one by one except coriander leaves.
- Boil and remove in soup bowl
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Chilli paste to be cooked in oil and the ingredients have to be blended together. |
